Rylee returns home
Well Rylee came home last night and I almost didn't get her. The stupid guy at the ticket counter gave me the wrong gate to pick her up at. So needless to say even though I planned to take pictures this time, it didn't happen because I was running from one side of the airport to the other just so I could get her. She was a little worried that her mommy wasn't coming to get her. Ugh!!! Anyway she is finally home and spoiled more than ever. Yeah me. It will take a week or so to get her straightened out. Thanks Nana and Papa for letting her come and stay with you she really enjoyed her time with you and misses you already.

Valentine's Weekend
On February 13, 2009 Rylee flew on a plan to Phoenix, AZ to visit her Nana and Papa. I guess because both of us were nervous about the flight and getting her on it, we didn't take any pictures. I remembered while I was waiting for the plane to take off to take this picture. She is already in the plane and probably playing her DS. She arrived safely in AZ and thought it was fun riding on the plane. She is having a blast. I miss her a lot. I watched Mama Mia later that night, it is a good movie if you like musicals. Of course there is a part in it that made me cry and think of Rylee (especially in the mornings when she is trying to get up for school) so I cried. Paco came over after work, yeah I looked great with my swollen red eyes. He didn't care and even suggested that we get another movie to watch to help take my mind off of things.
Valentine's Day well I didn't make it to Nia's wedding (yeah I will be in trouble for that one for sure). However, Kasey and I decided that we would have dinner together. We decided to have steak, shrimp, fried potatoes and salad. It was delicious. While we were cooking dinner I was playing with Taylor in her room with her kitchen. Well she thought it would be funny to put her Chef's hat on me. I had to have a picture. We played with her kitchen for a long time.

Wow! Aunt Mim how close are you going to get. Actually I was trying to take her picture and she kept running after me to see the camera. She is so use to us showing her the picture right after we take it that she wanted to see it right away. So I snapped this and it was really close, but I just couldn't resist her cute little chubby cheeks.

I also bought her a Grandma's sugar cookie with pink frosting on it for Valentine's Day. She loved it, she licked the frosting off first then she ate the cookie. Although Kasey and I both agree that when Nana gets back she has to make us all sugar cookies as neither of us know how to make them like Nana and we didn't get any for Christmas or Valentine's Day this year. We sure will be looking forward to those Mom. Don't worry I am saving your recipe for you.
All in all it was a great Valentine's Day - I sure hope that Rylee had fun too. I miss you love ya tons.

BLAST FROM THE PAST
These pictures were taken on my grandmother's 80th surprise birthday party. She had no idea what was planned for the day. It was a good time. I think a couple of my cousins were unable to attend that day and a couple of my 2nd cousins who live in Iowa were unable to attend. Other than that I think the only ones who didn't attend were the ones who obviously hadn't been born. Of course we have several new additions to the family now. Several other relatives and friends attended later for a social gathering. I think my grandmother enjoyed seeing everyone and I know she enjoyed having all of her family together. I remember when I was younger we use to gather as a family more often and I miss those times.
This is not all of us, but it does count for most of us. I am not going to include the names as it would take up the whole page. This includes my Grandparents (Wallace and Ruby Nunley's) children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Thursday, January 29, 2009
Taylor saying hello to my parents
This was so cute that I just could not resist posting it. It may turn out the best. She is so darn cute. Love Aunt Mim Tator Bug.

Showing Our Support for the Utes
Okay so maybe it is a little late, but I wanted to post what few pictures I was able to take of the Utah Utes parade that took place downtown on January 16, 2009. My camera battery died shortly after the parade started, bummer.
These girls sure do look happy do you think it is because they are skipping work to attend this parade. Okay so maybe we took a break (longer than the allowed 10 minutes, but who was counting). It is very rare that we take a break and we deserved it. I almost didn't attend thanks for talking me into going Saundra. It was well worth it. I had a blast and I am glad I was there to be part of this once in a life time event.

It is a picture of a bus and a girl walking next to it. Yeah I am not really sure why I took this picture, but I thought I would through it in anyway.
Yeah way to go UTES!!!!
