Our newest edition to the family (Jocelyn)

Our beautiful baby girl was born on October 18 and has brought so many joys to our family. We love and adore her so much. She weighed in at 8lbs 2 oz and 20.5 inches long. Because she was getting so big and I had high blood pressure she was delivered about 3 weeks earlier than her due date. We had a great time during the holidays and it was so nice to spend so much time with her. I also was able to spend all of the Christmas break with Rylee this year.

Life changes

Several things have happened since my last post. I married Francisco Giron on September 26, 2009. We are expecting a daughter in October. We are very excited. Rylee is so excited to be a big sister and have a little sister. I am not so sure she will feel the same when her little sister arrives.

Rylee finished 4th Grade and will be moving on to 5th Grade. We are really proud of her as she has just finished reading the 3rd book in the Twilight Saga and will now be able to attend the movie with her Nana tonight in Kansas.

I hope to post pictures soon of the wedding and Rylee. Of course I will try to post a picture of the ultrasound of our new little girl.

Lunch with Rylee at DIA (her school)

March 11, 2009 Rylee's school had a VIA (Very Important Adult) day. Which meant the students were allowed to invite parents or grandparents to join them for lunch. It was so much having lunch with Rylee. She really enjoyed it too. I was able to meet some of her friends and even was able to join her at recess. I took a couple of pictures of her at recess. Most of the time she wanted to hang out with me. She did play tag with her friends for a little while. I love you a lot Rylee thanks for inviting me to join you and your friends for lunch. I had a good time.

Miscellaneous post

Well lately I have been what my friend and I have decided to call a "blog-slacker." A blog-slacker is someone who hasn't made a post in a very long time and seeing how I am nearing the 2 to 3 week mark I am a definite blog-slacker. Well I finally have an updated picture of me and Paco so I am attaching it. Also, I am attaching the cutest picture of Sage (Paco's niece) she was eating strawberry cake last night and loved it. Then the last picture is an important picture also as it is Paco's mother. She is here visiting from Guatemala and does not speak English. This is not the first time that I have met her as she was here last year around Christmas time with her husband, who unfortunately was unable to make the trip this time. I was fortunate enough to meet both of them when they were visiting the last time, however we did not get to know each very well. Although this time we have spent more time together and I am getting to know her a little more and she is getting to know me a little more. Wow you would not believe the crazy conversations that Julio has translated between her, Camille and I. Tomorrow we will be celebrating her birthday. I am sure I will have a lot more pictures to post then. Feliz CumpleaƱos.
